# About Xero Connector

Xero is a cloud-based accounting software platform designed for businesses. It offers a range of financial and accounting tools to help businesses manage their finances efficiently. Here are some key features and aspects of Xero:

1. **Cloud-Based:** Xero operates entirely in the cloud, which means users can access their financial data from anywhere.
2. **Accounting and Bookkeeping:** Xero provides core accounting functions such as invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
3. **Invoicing:** Users can create professional-looking invoices, customize them with their branding, and send them directly to clients
4. **Bank Reconciliation:** Xero can automatically import and categorize bank transactions, making it easier to reconcile your accounts and track your cash flow.

By using Xero as a Daton connector, users get the opportunity to centralize financial data, expand reporting and analytics capabilities, and improve data workflows, all of which enable more informed and effective financial management operations.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://daton-sarasanalytics.gitbook.io/daton/integrations/data-sources/saas-integrations/xero-v2/about-xero-connector.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
