# About Google Analytics Platform

[Google Analytics](https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/) is a web analytics service by Google, that provides insights on website and app traffic. It helps businesses understand user behavior, track performance, and make data-driven decisions for online success.

#### What's new in GA4?

Version 4 of Daton's Google Analytics connector has recently been enhanced to offer more flexibility and efficiency in data integration. Users can now select multiple combinations of metrics and dimensions within a single integration. This eliminates the need for multiple integrations to accommodate different metric-dimension combinations. This improvement simplifies the process and streamlines data analysis, enabling businesses to gain deeper insights from their Google Analytics data.

The upgraded GA4 connector also allows users to add up to 9 dimensions and 10 metrics in a single table. This expanded capacity facilitates in-depth data exploration and analysis, empowering businesses to make data-driven decisions more effectively. With the GA4 connector in Daton, users can harness the full potential of their Google Analytics data and optimize their marketing strategies with greater ease and precision.
