Daton's Notification Overhaul

Have you ever struggled with data discrepancies, only to find out that it was a simple authorization error that was blocking synchronization? We are there to listen. Daton's notifications are now more than just updates - they're actionable alerts that make managing your data smoother.

What's New?

  • Simplified notification interface: We've completely revamped the notification system to provide a more user-friendly experience. Now setup is effortless and our emails look fresh and clean. No more floodingβ€”receive concise, spammy emails about every single integration change every day. Instead, you'll receive just one concise, informative email daily.

What's Next?

  • Data Delay Notifications (Beta Testing Mid-February): We are introducing real-time notifications to promptly alert users about any hiccups in their data pipelines. These notifications will specify stumbling integrations and identify the affected tables.

  • One-Stop Alerts Tab: In the near future, users can look forward to the introduction of the Alerts tab, consolidating essential information about their tables across Daton into one centralized location.

  • Advanced Monitoring (Timeline TBA): Users can anticipate advanced monitoring features, including tracking long-running jobs and SLA breaches. Additionally, the notifications system will soon seamlessly integrate with popular platforms such as Slack and Teams.
