What’s New in Daton?

This section includes:

  • Platform and Connector Enhancements: Find out how we have optimized your process flows, fixed the bugs that irritated you, and advanced the performance of the most loved connectors.

  • New Connectors: Our connector library is growing by leaps and bounds every day; see the ones recently added that will allow you to unite Daton with an even greater number of data sources.

Platform Enhancements

Free Historic Loads: Complimentary data replication for 7-day after creating a new integration. During this period, all rows replicated will not count towards your usage limit, allowing for a seamless and cost-effective onboarding experience. We also track these free load rows separately for precise usage reporting.

Free Reloads: Reload your data for 2 days time period without impacting your usage limit. Useful for addressing data mismatch issues, ensuring customers don't incur additional costs. These free load rows are tracked separately for accurate usage reporting.

Usage Report export: This new functionality allows users to download a comprehensive usage report for historic data replication in batches of monthly billing cycles. With this feature, our customers can easily access, analyze, and manage data usage over time.

Amazon Selling Partner

XMLReturnsReportbyReturnDate

Includes detailed return information, such as the return request date, RMA ID, label details, ASIN, and return reason code.

CouponPerformanceReport.

The coupon campaign data helps vendors optimize promotions and adjust advertising strategies. The report includes campaign details (total clips, redemptions) and coupon specifics (start/end dates, clips, redemptions, budget).

  • Improved raw dependent tables data fetching speed by 4x compared to the previous method.

  • Handled Amazon's schema changes for ListFinancialEvents and ListFinancialEventsByGroupId.

Amazon Vendor Central

  • We added a Reference API for the ASIN feature in Vendor Central, reducing the manual effort of uploading ASIN files in Daton integration. Now, by selecting the table, you can automatically fetch data from dependent tables.

Facebook Ads

  • The Facebook Ads connector used to fetch data once a day, retrieving yesterday's data today and today's data tomorrow. Now, it fetches today's data every hour according to the set frequency.

Shopify

  • Added 1 new table:

Table Name

product sessions

Previously, the product sessions table lacked attribution, leading to data discrepancies. We have now implemented an attribution window of 15 days to address this issue.

Pinterest Ads

  • The Pinterest analytics tables experienced pagination problems. The cursor was not being picked up because the pagination extraction chain was pointing to the wrong path. Users were only able to fetch 250 records (1 page) before the job terminated. We corrected the path to extract the cursor, users can now fetch all the records.

Gorgias

  • We have implemented a functionality to transform full-load tables into incremental tables by sorting the data and fetching the complete data only once. This will greatly reduce both Daton and warehouse costs.

Klaviyo

  • We have upgraded the Klaviyo version from legacy and 2022-10-17 versions to 2023-12-15. This upgradation will maintain the connector stability till 2025 December.

  • We have enhanced the way we process nested columns in Klaviyo, which is huge, by using our BigQuery schema management. You can find all the columns which were detected and created by Daton under daton_metadata table in your warehouse dataset.

Shipbob

  • Date Params issues: The source previously had parameters that prevented clients from fetching the latest data. Shipbob has confirmed issues with these parameters in the latest updates, which have now been resolved. This enables clients to retrieve the latest data.

  • Added 2 new tables:

Table Name

Receiving order

A Warehouse Receiving Order is a request form that tells ShipBob's fulfilment centres what inventory should be received and stocked. Some other solutions call this an β€œASN” or Advanced Ship Notice. WROs may include multiple inventory items with specific quantities

Receiving order boxes

A Warehouse Receiving order boxes pulls the data based on receiving order ID's.
